Review : PONY EFFECT Conceptual Eyes Quad Eyeshadow Palette

April 25, 2016

Finally a new review update! YOOHOO
and this time is from my favorite Korean Makeup Artist - God Pony
She's been launching a whole new series of collection since That Girl Holiday Collection last year.
This new collection including foundation, foundation cushion, powder pact, eyebrow pencil, browcara, eyeshadow palette, eyeliner, mascara, contouring palette, lip tint, matte lipstick, nail lacquer and the magnetic brush.
I wished i could bring all of them home just because of God Pony
And the packaging are sosososo gorgeous LOL
sorry for my fangirl-ing
when i saw the 1+1 event for the eyeshadow palette from Gmarket for only one day
i just grab it without hesitating
you now still can purchase it here
Gmarket

oh well, though i can read Korean words but not really can understand them HAHA
so i just skip those introduce photos and choose my palette

There are 6 options for you to choose which are
# Be Romantic
# Embrown
# Eternal Seduction
# Lively
# Innocent
# So Gorgeous

Each quad palette consists of different types of eyeshadow
glitter, shimmer or matte
# Be Romantic - 2 shimmer, 2 matte
# Embrown - 3 matte, 1 shimmer
# Eternal Seduction - 2 shimmer, 1 glitter, 1 matte
# Lively - 2 shimmer, 1 glitter, 1 matte
# Innocent - 3 shimmer, 1 glitter
# So Gorgeous - 2 shimmer, 1 glitter, 1 matte

anyway, today i'm gonna review her new eyeshadow palette
i got mine in # Be Romantic

let's take a look on the official photos 1st

And my review photos and swatches are down below
scroll scroll scroll LOL

okay....the box packaging HAHA

samples that given : seamless foundation, outfit velvet lipstick and a photo card

look at the luxurious packaging OMAYA
packaging : 5/5

the zoom in version

and the swatches on my hand~~~~~

# Love Me : Shimmer type
Peachy gold shimmer shade, can use it for highlighting the aegyosal

# Roses : Matte type
Matte warm peach, use it as base colour should be ok

# Moment : Shimmer type
shimmery copper brown, most pigmented out of the 4 shades

# Doom : Matte type
Matte rose burgundy shade....i think so HAHA , the deepest shade

hmm, after swatching them
do have beautiful color and quite pigmented
but i found that matte type is less pigmented than the shimmer type
&
though i put my hand under the running water it still there
but
don't ever wipe them or touch them(maybe?)
it's not smudgeproof.....i think so
easily wife off with wet tissue so the staying power is MEH

VERDICT : 3.8/5
